Hearing aid caring



Digital hearing aid is an electronic device that runs on battery power, and helps improve your ability to hear in different environments.  Since they’re worn either behind or inside the ear, they are very Small and need special care in order to last a long time.

At Ear Solutions (The Best Sound Center), We  give patients very specific instructions so they know how to take good care of their devices.  A hearing aid is an investment in your hearing and your health, so it’s important to follow directions closely.
Hearing aids should be cleaned daily with a dry, lint-free cloth.  Keep them away from moisture; they shouldn’t be worn when taking a bath or shower, or while swimming.  Don’t use hair spray while wearing hearing aids, and don’t expose them to heat, like when using a blow dryer or working close to a hot oven.
“During summer, patients may be sweating more.” “We advise them to keep their hearing aids in a dryer at night to keep moisture out. 
“Avoid dropping your hearing aids on hard surfaces.  When you’re not using them, remove the battery and store the hearing aids in a case, which Ear Solutions provides to their patients.  Hearing aids and batteries (new and used) should be placed out of reach of children and pets.
